The RNZAF Association was founded in 1946 by demobbing airmen who wished to maintain the camaraderie of Service life.

The Association’s Objects are:

• To perpetuate the fellowship born of service to Her Majesty’s Royal New Zealand Air Force and other Commonwealth Air Forces.
• To help promote the welfare of former Air Force personnel and their dependants who are in need.
• To strive for the maintenance of a credible and efficient Air Force in New Zealand.
• To promote the commemoration of air power history, particularly RNZAF history.
• To inculcate a sense of individual obligations to the community and to the Nation.

Our Values are:

• Camaraderie and friendship
• Mutual care and respect
• Remembrance
• Service to the community and nation

The Association is comprised of a National Body and 14 branches across New Zealand. Membership is open to anybody of good repute who shares our values and objects.
