Sainsbury Awards

The Roy and Marie Sainsbury Charitable Trust was established through the Will of the late Roy Nelson Lewis Sainsbury who died 13 October 2014. 

All Branches are eligible to apply for Sainsbury Award funding.  Applications close on the 31st of March each year.

Recognition of Service Awards

The ATCANZ Length of Service badges, may also be referred to as the ATCANZ Recognition of Service Awards, were introduced in June 2026 to formally recognise the valuable commitment of our members and celebrate the significant contribution they have made to ATCANZ and the ATC Squadron they support.  

The Length of Service Badges may be awarded to members according to the length of service as follows:

  • The Bronze Badge is awarded for five years of cumulative service
  • ​The Silver Badge is awarded for ten years of cumulative service
  • ​The Gold Badge is awarded for fifteen years of cumulative service

ATCANZ Certificates of Commendation

ATCANZ Certificates of Commendation may be made members of ATCANZ, or to any member of the community, who has given outstanding service to ATCANZ for the benefit of ATC cadets and service to the community.
